I have never tasted kabab before. So when I came across the recipe of daal kabab, I thought of trying it. It is very easy to make and tasty too.

4.    Salt to taste
5.    Oil for deep frying

TO GRIND

2.    Ginger : ½ tsp
3.    Garlic  : 1 tsp
4.    Cumin seeds / Jeera : 1 tsp

2.    Heat a pan and add the paste to the pan. Keep stirring till the daal gets cooked and the paste become dry. Switch off the flame in a stage when the daal is not sticking to the pan.
3.    Remove the brown colored sides of the bread slices, give it  a quick dip in water and remove the excess water by squeezing it. Add it to the daal mixture and mash well. Now add red chilli powder, garam masala , salt and mix well to make a dough.
4.    Divide the dough into equal sized cylindrical portions.
5.    Heat a wok with oil and deep fry the equal sized kababs.
6.    Serve hot  with vegetable salad.

SUGGESTION

1.    Moong daal can be used instead of masoor daal.
2.    You can also try baking rather than deep frying.
